Been also really enjoying Blast Factor, one of the downloadable games. It's really challenging (for me anyways), and it's arcade style to the extent that you start over each time. So I tend to play it every now and then to see if I can get further or get a better score.

Of course I've also been working on my second XII playthrough, as well as gradually progressing in Okami... All the while working on a job pitch. So yes, plenty of stuff to keep me occupied

Just out of curiousity how does the PS3 play, graphically and just in general with the SIXAXIS ? Im looking forward to my ps3 when it drops in value a little bit...which wont be for a few years at least.

It's really nice, especially in HD. If you play on a normal TV you probably wouldn't notice too much of a difference, but the HDMI output alone makes an extreme difference to me. It's like seeing the world after you realize your vision's a bit fuzzy and so you get a great pair of glasses. I just wish that it would take PS2 games and upscale them to be sharp and crispy too. Maybe some day.

As far as the SIXAXIS is concerned, there's been a few inventive uses of it. My favourite is in Resistance, using it to shake off fire and target lock-ons. It's one of those "intuative" motions that I hope will gradually become the norm. The other uses are primarily steering in RR7 and Motorstorm's demo. Both make the game infinitely harder to play, but also much more satisfying when played in a first person cam. So if you take the time to learn it versus using the analog stick (Particularly difficult in RR7, since you're drifting a ton), it's just as responsive as steering in say a Wii title. It just takes getting used to. Since it's an option rather than a norm, I don't see it becoming manditory though.

That sounds great, i hope that Final Fantasy uses the SIXAXIS to its full potential in some way. If they dont then i hope someone makes something close to Fable and Zelda on the Ps3 that requires similar motions fishing, racing...etc.
