Should be able to to just click the manage attachments button when you are writing a post. Its down below in the additional options section. You then browse to your image and click the upload button. Failing that you can upload images to the Gallery and then link to them using the code listed at the bottom of the image once it is properly uploaded. If you need additional details let me know and I'll see what I can do.
