No surprise really, because it uses the same engine. Where it really shines is the combat controls, which in my opinion are second only to Mount and Blade in the ability to move your sword wherever you need it at any moment. Oh, and the demon form is pretty cool too imo.

Cave Story. It's like a mix of Metroid and Gunstar Heroes. And free.
FFXI, Knytt, and Diablo are runners up I guess. I'm really a console gamer.

Mechwarrior 2, I had a lot of fun running around blowing things up in a battlemech back in the day. It's really hard to pick just one though, depending on the day you ask it could be one of about a dozen.

Hey all, happy new year to everyone on this new year's eve.
Not sure if I have a just one favorite, but the games I played the most was/is Ages of Mythology (and Titan expansion). As for MMORPG, longest game I played was EQ 99-04. Bards Tale and Wizadry was the first two RPG games I started with and remembered the most. Been mostly playing rpg/fantasy base type ever since...sometimes others thou. Happy New Year everyone! |

Yeah Age of Mythologies was interesting, though honestly I preferred their Age of Empires series to be a little more engaging. Bards Tale was great too!

I had to put EQ as it was the only game thats kept my attention constantly for years. Other than that I always enjoyed the Tycoon series (Transport Tycoon/Rollercoaster Tycoon) and Colinization (loved seeing what score you would get to see what strange thing would be named after you.
