Favorite Mainstream Anime?

If you guys didnt like the poll, you can A) not vote or B) make your own poll that reflects other choices....again i cant list all the animes available so i only stuck with ones that i tend to like better, and i prefer to use specific names over the "other" option, so sorry about that, in the future ill add the (other) option =P

I personally dislike all of those except for FMA. Mainstream isn't really my thing.

Full Metal Alchemist is the best one on there. I prefer anime that ends, and in a timely fashion. /glare Naruto

Anime doesn't necissarily connotate a series. It just denotes anything that's animated and from Japan.

Personally, I think open-eneded threads like this don't need a poll if everyone is going to be bringing their own suggestions to the table as far as what their favourites are. Might be something to keep in mind next time as well

Only two anime worlds I enjoyed were Tenchi Muyo and Record of Lodoss Wars of course.

I really forgot about tenchi muyo ,mainly because it's been so long since I've seen it. I used to love that freaking show, I used to rush home from school to watch it with my sister, Tenchi Masaki, Ryoko, Little Washu, Princess Aiaka, wow I really miss it. I should buy the 3 series of it on dvd or something that'd be cool to have in my collection. RoLW wasn't bad at all, learned about it from Gares was the first anime I saw with a high fantasy tolkienesque theme to it.

Actually that's not entirely accurate. Japanimation as it is correctly called, is an animated show that features manga style art. If I remember correctly Manga was an art style that originated in Japan around the 11th centurey AD. With the introduction of film the manga artists started animating it and thus Japanimation was born. Just because it originated in Japan doesn't neccesarily mean it can't be made elsewhere.
