Which of the new Consoles do you prefer and why?

Im going to have to stick with the Ps3 myself, im a sony fan although i hope they make the console worthwhile im not looking forward to pay $600 for a system that flops...although if you guys have seen final fantasy for the ps3 its sick.

I can't vote yet. I'm sure my wife will make me buy whichever console has Kingdom Hearts 3.

I don't see myself buying one until then.

I can't say I'm hyped about FF13 until we see some actual raw gameplay footage

White Knight story on the other hand, that's a game to get a PS3 for.

However, I'm likely to get a Wii and a bunch of fun-times games on launch. I'll wait to pick up a PS3 until A) Price drops a bit B) Games I want to play come out.

I grew up with consoles and then graduated to PC. Stickin with my PC.

Pc FTW....Possibly nintendo for the mario and zelda ones when its price dies down, but Im really into the variety of games for pc, and the fact that all I need to play em is a game disc and a pc somewhere...umtimate portability with my laptop, and for higher end games, I just gotta find a higher end terminal wherever I am.

When the wii hits $100, I might get it...but I like so few platform games that I can always just borrow a console and rent the game I want and be done with it in a week...I just dont seem to have replay value with any game.

Though I can play a good mmo forever.
I want vanguard to hurry up and at least have open beta.

For me i would have to say the PS3, i just like the game that come out for the playstation systems better then the others, of course there are games that i like for the other systems as well. It's just that i like more on the playstations, and from what i see of the PS3 i feel i'm gonna like it...when i do get it, not gonna right away, don't have that kind of money, lol.

My sister and I are splitting a Wii. It's inexpensive and actually has games I want to play.

The PS3 and 360 are a joke on an composite cable or RF-adapter SDTV, which is what we have. I have no use for their extra features either.

Nil you're probably gonna be shelling out 600 bones for the PS3 like me then, because I'm pretty sure KH3 will go to the PS3, square-enix probably has a contract with Sony. I already have the xbox 360 just waiting for some decent titles to be released for it, I'm already bored with my last purchase of Dead Rising. As for the Wii I might get that for my sister it looks like a console that she would enjoy.

I don't buy consoles until a couple years after a new one is released. I never really saw the point in buying a console when it first hits the shelves because there is never many games to play with it and if there is no games then there is no point in having it.

All of that said I would be more likely to buy a PS3 than the others because Sony has Majority market share and as long as they can retain that they will have the most support from third party developers and as such having the most games.

I already own an Xbox 360 and I can already see its going to get about the same usage as my PS2 which is not much. Perhaps that will change as I have kids and cant devote as much time to MMOs as I do now. Until then though I just dont have time to spare on consoles since Im in MMOs on my PC 5 days out of the week.
