You could say the same thing about PC's. You buy a new PC and game companies come out with higher requirements, soon a PC your purchased will be out of date within 6 months. So yes consoles are a bigger bang for your buck then a PC would be, Why? Because the Console doesnt receive or require hardware updates anywhere near as much as a PC would. Consoles are more money efficient in that regard. At least IMO.

There's ways to mitigate the cost of upgrades. Some consoles have that tendency to break too (here's lookin' at you, 360.) It's not much cheaper any more. It is still much less of a hassle though, and the games are made for game pads and television viewing distances. Which is why I don't think I'll ever switch to PC; at the moment it's just something I tolerate to play MMOs. (Gimme FFXI-2 already Square!!)

Wii Opera is out. I'm posting this via my Wii. As expected, typing with a Wiimote sucks. Each time I end a sentence with a period auto-complete appends “us” after.

I like my Xbox360, just picked up Viva Piñata for christmas and I really like how the online part of it works... it feels really stable, especially seeing as it is Microsoft's second console with the live feature.
I don't give much for the PS3 except for the BlueRay drive, mostly because the twist the truth about their consoles to try to sell more. I love the idea that wii currently is using with their controllers, considering to buy one to only use as party games when friends are over, it just needs to drop a bit more in cost though. |

lol good ol faithfull PC ^^ if i had to say any i would say the wii cause its not the x-box, and the playstation is way to expensive.. i dont got 600 bucks to throw away for a console then buy more games jeez lol... plus its controller comes in 2 peices, looked fun to me ^^
