Which of the new Consoles do you prefer and why?

Wii and Ps3 actually have 21 confirmed launch titles each for North America. I can't remember a launch with so many games. Not that it means much if there's only two you'd actually want.

Yeah, that's probably true, but on the plus-side, Sony added an HDMI port to the cheaper version of the PS3 in Japan. I'd be surprised to see them make another version for the US - so I may not need to buy the expensive one.

Yeah... I'd be actually quite tempted to get the 500 version once a few more games that I want come out. I honestly don't mind the 20 vs 60 gig difference, and I probably wouldn't use the extra port or Wi-Fi anyways (my comp & gaming space is located right next to the router, so just gotta plug in another cable)

Course the issue at hand is money, which I don't have an abundance of

Yeah I hope there are more games I want to play for the PS3 compared to my xbox 360 which is getting no play and I'm not even devoting my time to a mmo atm...

White Knight story on the other hand, that's a game to get a PS3 for.

However, I'm likely to get a Wii and a bunch of fun-times games on launch. I'll wait to pick up a PS3 until A) Price drops a bit B) Games I want to play come out.

Good point, the wii will have alot of fun games that you can re-play however whats fighting that imo, is the roms you can dl and the emulators for all the old games are already free to run on a pc, so why would you buy the wii if a( the graphics arent much better then the ps2 and b( all the older games avail for download are already avail for dl on emulators. As far as the ff13 comment, they actually did release some gameplay footage of the game, most people thought it was CGI, thats actually what the gameplay battle engine looks like, you can get a better look off this link (http://media.ps3.ign.com/media/826/826843/imgs_1.html) the video on the website does show a more of the game but not by alot, it looks like enix really wants to surprise us. But one reason alone to get the ps3 is for Assasins Creed and FF series thats going to be released both ff13 and ff13 versus.

What I mean by gameplay footage is straight-up direct feed of someone physically playing the game.

Im not entirely sure if it got delayed, i wouldnt be surprised if it did, im sure sony wants to get it as close to christmas as possible because alot of people are going to want that for christmas, i know i do but no one will buy it for me how sad! >_<. All in all Sony better get it right because alot of people have been very patient imo waiting for the ps3.
