Aye we're going to need some heavy web development to take the site to the next level of readiness for the game. Right now our biggest need is for people skilled in HTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX, etc. More on this tomorrow when I finish catching up.

At the moment i don't really know any java, a friend of mine is learning java and based on her opinion i might look into specializing in java as well, currently a new student so to speak. From what she's told me it is similar to C++ in some ways, we had taken classes in that together till we realized the school we were going to was full of poor teachers and unfriendly staff, lol. So my learning experience into computer languages has been slowed some.

Had a similar experience in college. Ended up being taught Turbo Pascal in 1995 which was rather annoying since it was a dead language even then. Its ok though since it got me working in system and network administration which fits me better. I just understand computers.
I still program but its on my terms and when I want to not as a profession.
