Listening music ...

After reading, listening music.

What kind of music do you like, why, do you make music yourself etc ... ?

I'm not a musician but I can't even imagine life without music.

I mainly love metal and electronic music (hardcore, noise and few other things) ; Here are some bands I adulate :

- Converge
- Botch
- Cave In
- Breach
- Keelhaul
- Coalesce
- Melt banana
(- Edit : Rorschach, I think I can't forget this one heh)
- and so many more ...

What about you ?

Re: Listening music ...

I'm all over the place. I've played the trumpet for about ten years now and I am in the process of learning to play the guitar. I like to listen to:

Gogol Bordello - "Gyspy Punk"
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Alternative
Matisyahu - Reggae
Sublime - Ska
Catch 22 - Ska
Feist - Indie Pop

...and yeah, as with most people, this list could go on for a while.

Re: Listening music ...

I love Jeremy Soule's music - I have a lot of his music from Guild Wars purchased via DirectSong.com.

I mostly listen to... Dunno, I don't have a lot of music, but my collection pretty much has a little bit of "everything" in between classical and heavy metal.

Oh, and lots of Nintendo music - Legend of Zelda OSTs and stuff.

Yes, all those things I use to listen to when I'm bored with violent stuff.
