Strange feeling

I have a WOW account but have reached the stage where although I am bored stiff I just cant face playing WOW anymore. I can get as far as the logging screen and just get a sinking feeling. I guess it the fact that I have been in five guilds, all useless, and have been forced to solo 6 characters to high level since it WOW released. In other games I felt an affinity with my characters but in wow they remain just toons. Roll on Vanguard .. guess i will dig out NWN for a bit.

I get that feeling in EQ now, as well. It's really sad! I love Norrath, but there are too many things "wrong" right now! It's my friends there that I just can't leave.

I'm ready for a new beginning!

I got that feeling with WoW as well

But I still gave Matrix Online a try... which was surreal and cool, but unsupported and unstable.

Don't worry though, I'm sure a lot of the Vanguard community feels with ya

Cant play any MMO lol i am waiting Vanguard as well. A lot of my friends from EQ are feeling same and look to Sigil team. The dream will come .. no doubt on it. As far i read notes, Faqs and documentations about VG i am becoming like a wolf looking a little lamb lol.
For the moment i will wait with morrowind and play my magelame then

The other free time i will be on vanguard sphere site to /grin all of you lol

Yeah I made that choice, for the last time sometime before the expanion to level 70 and new epic came out I hated to leave cuase I had alot of friends I made on that game , but it just was missing alot of things and seemed to change form the game I loved into more and more crappy crap I was supposed to do...I quit a couple times b4 and came back but now the game barely doesn't even sound fun.
As for wow I hated the crowd that wow drew in period and it was to easy to solo so that i what everybody did solo pling to max then raiding. wow was way better then I expected, but I want a mmorpg where grouping is a more viable option then soloing.
As for v:soh I am really excited duh, but there are a few minor nongamebreaking desions that I am a tad worried about. worse case though it sounds like I will be all I wish they would have done x instead of y then it would have been a prefect game. I also going in with as clean of a slate as posible and trying to keep an open mind on issuse I diagree with like death pently and tlc.

Hi all,

I am new to the Vanguard site, and a couple of days ago cancelled my subscription to EQ.

I am so excited about the new Vanguard game. I can hardly wait.

I played EQ for 4 years, and after the latest bungling on their part, I had had enough.

I'm chomping at the bit to start playing, what seems will be, a very exciting and fun game. Hurry!!! Hurry!!

lol i think i am one of the only ppl that is happy with the MMO i am playing right now. Eq2 has made some wonderful changes and with the expansion coming out on Feb 21 (with lvl cap raise and AAs), i am a happy camper.

I am still looking forward to Vanguard, but at the moment i am happy to be playing a MMO that isn't dying rapidly.
