Suggest: Shield stats
Now that paladins can actually use their shield for something cool, what about the idea of giving shields damage?
The new paladin skill that went in today does a flat damage number, this doesn't allow scaling with the quality of the shield, which I think is a mistake. However its limited by mechanics. What if the skill used the AC the shield gives as base damage and did "Shield AC + X to Y damage" - that would allow it to scale. The alternative is to give every shield a damage (like weapons) I think changing it so the skill does the shield AC + damage would be easier to implement and achieve the same concept though. |
