I just want to say that I have the upmost admiration for how Sigil is handling it's community relations, helping to build an involved and mature community around such a fantastic game. It pleasantly reminds me of the modding communities I've been a part of in the past.

Having developers directly involved with the community is a fantastic commitment to make, and it will undoubtedly pay off in the future. No more faceless corporations to deal with!

Its great to hear from you guys. You may rest assured that Diplomacy will be a winner since if I can master it anyone can.

If I may inject a wee bit of feedback here. What confused me and many others is that they thought they would be indulging in a conversation or debate. Now I know the debate takes place in the dialog window but the wording is precoded so the dialog does not relate to the description of the card you play. In fact you play any card that works regardless of its title or type.

I guess I was thinking back to the logic trees in so called "Expert Systems" which I worked on in the 1980's. using those you could have a debate using multiple choice against a computer.

I for one wish to state that I strongly dislike diplomacy in this game. I tried to use a Reason card on my wife, and almost got clocked by a plate. Next I'll try to use Flattery... they need to come out with a Flowers card.
