New Crafter stuck on Tutorial

Hello, can someone please help me out as I am stuck on the crafting tutorial. I am on the last quest where they want you to go to a Assembly bench to put together(upgrade) a saw.

When I go there I have the "ranger" drop down under Assembly but nothing else under that... So the question is how do I upgrade the saw?

don't know for sure, maybe the recipe got put under the ranger category through some bug. if all else fails you can always skip the tutorial by talking to the person who gave you the starter quests.

Relogging might solve the issue for you, by either showing the assembly recipe you need (which should be in the window you mention when you target an assembly bench), or by simply dropping the upgraded tool on you when you log back in. This assembly thing has had problems for a while, and I believe the "whoops here you go!" loging to upgraded tools is a way round it.

If neither of those happens, I'm not sure how to fix it. That said, the higher class crafting vendors (the ones with the level 20 gear for sale) also sell all +2 tools at very little cost, so all is not lost. I can't tell you where that vendor may be in Halgarad but I'm reasonably certain there will be one somewhere in town.

I have tried to LOG off but that didn't fix anything. What is weird is that I don't even have a recipe to do the required assembly! something is not right there...
