Swaping primary and 2ndary harvesting

Hi,

I have decided to become a tailor but i have skinning as primary and reaping as 2ndary harvesting skills. Would i loose my points in them if i swapped and does it make a difference when harvesting?

Yes, you would loose all of at least one of them (or both if you are not careful), but no, it will have no effect on harvesting. From all I have seen, primary and secondary are just labels for the two skll slots.

A friend of mine told me that the primary harvest skill raises faster than the secondary skill. Makes any sense? I didn't try to measure how fast my harvest skills raise but in fact my primary skill always be greater than the sec.

This could be the difference between the primary and the secondary ?

People have been saying that for a while, but others have noticed that on equal amounts of harvesting it seems to rise at about the same rate. I think the main reason primary skills seem to go up faster is that people use it more often -- as far as I've seen (all my many, many alts harvest), there's no real difference.
