I havent seen much on the subject, but if I can I usually like being a merchant and not so much of a crafter. I more enjoy running a merchant shop or guild auction hall.

I know I will be a Psionicist. However, I haven't given that much thought to the crafting or diplomacy side of the house because I just cannot find enough info to get me stoked.

I was a baker and jeweler in EQ. So who knows, I wouldn't mind being a merchant tho. And rake in some bucks.

I think when the game first hits I will be doing alot of structure building because there will be a large demand for this early in the life cycle, then will probly go to jewelry as players start getting high in levels

I'm not rly sure as of yet what type of crafting I'll be doing. As a Ranger I will be doing something with fletching (is this even in?, I havent really been following crafting too much) and if not either a jewler or a blacksmith of some sort.

I have been absent from the OVF for a while due to the information drought after E3.

Before I left, the plan was that there might be no fletching at all because the ranger will have endless arrows that are not equipped on at all. It is a bit like the endless ammo you get when you use your pistol in doom or quake.

There are quite a lot of things that is not set in stone yet. So maybe that is not the case anymore.

This has been changed (see this thread: http://vanguardcrafters.pbmeyertx.co...opic.php?t=782). The ranger can forage and form some makeshift arrows (see this interview: http://vgrangers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=168), but most arrows will be crafted by the artificer or blacksmith (depending if they are metal or not I guess).

I did not have a problem with the original idea but thought Sigil could have done a bit more back at the time I read the post, so I’m pleased to hear this change.
