Question Ahgram Work Orders

I'm a Level 19 Outfitter with 205 Ahgram faction, and all the Task Masters in Ahgram do not offer me any Work Orders. How can I get work orders from the various Task Masters in Ahgram? Thanks in advance!

Re: Ahgram Work Orders

They have a strange system in Ahgram.

I think I've seen a few WOs on the task masters after I've gotten a good bit of faction, but really Ahgram is no place to grind.

There are however 3 guilds there, where you can get a few WOs that rewards you with 10 faction points per WO.
Be aware that if you pick a hard one you have to abandon you will get -10 faction.

You could instead head across the river to the refugee camp E of Azhams beacon or whatever that place is called, if you want to grind.

If I recall correctly, the 'capitals' are for high lvl crafting. So I'm assuming that it'd be close to T4.

Don't know though, I lag pretty bad in big cities so I try to stay out. Hopefully I'll have my new PC built before I have to go to them

Ahgram have been pretty dead when I've been there, so no lag issues for me.

Re: Ahgram Work Orders

My only problem with the Refugee Camp (and pretty much all other outposts) is the lack of good WO's and the slow, slow refresh time. I think usually I can find maybe 6 decent WO's to do before all that's left are Difficults and Almost Impossibles.

The taskmasters simply don't refresh enough to keep up with demand. When there's 10 artificers in one place, you run out of WO's quick. So I usually find myself in a capital grinding simple so I don't have to worry about whether or not I'm gonna be able to have good WO's to choose from.

Do taskmasters share refresh times among other players? I didn't think this was the case. I thought the refresh time was unique to each player.

Re: Ahgram Work Orders

The general ahgram taskmasters start giving work orders at level 25 crafting. Im not aware of any faction requirements beyond not being kos.

As mentioned above, this is not a good area for grinding. Anyone who would have complaints about the number of available work orders at the refugee camp, is going to have the same complaint here. If that is indeed your complaint, Id stay in Tawar Galan as long as the moderate work orders hold out, after that I have no real idea, as Ive not see any other place that wasnt a bit lacking in available moderate level work.

I was not aware that the work orders was on a time based cooldown. My experience is that orders refreshed as other orders was turned in. I have seen this in action several times in the early days when you used to have crafting outposts all to your self for hours. Having turned in my last completed order, I noted one of the older ones I had completed some time ago reappeared. So i grabbed one work order, finished it, checked the list to be sure of what was there, turned in my order, checked list again, as expected, another work order had refreshed. Repeated the same experiment 2 more times, to the same results. NOTE: im not claiming this to be the exact mechanic, nor am i claiming this data to be absolutely conclusive, or complete, as well, im not saying time has nothing to do with it, but as far as im concerned, it was enough to create doubts about work orders being totally dependant, if at all, on a time based cooldown. At the very least, it would appear that other factors may be involved.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I will try some tests to find out.

Thanks for the info. One small change I wish to respond to: you mentioned staying in Tawar Galan, which I just wanted to point out is Kojan, not Qalian. If you want Qalian, stay in the Refugee Camp

Re: Ahgram Work Orders

Quite right. I would have taken that into account had faction been presented as the issue, rather than just the available work.
