F'in Bugs / resets /rollbacks / and bears...oh my!

OK - since I will get no help since it is a 'quest' problem, figured I'd at least post to find out what I was missing out on since I forgot on my earlier crafters what was next:

I did the intro quest for crafting in Hathor up to where it asked for a Work order. I went to the woman, Erkane and got the work order, while working on it the chunk reset or I did.

Came back and I didn't have that work order, but I did have 3 OUTFITTER ones in my quest log (workorders section) all saying Diffuclty: Impossible (no duh)... couldn't see a cancel button for them.

Couldn't get an offer of one from the taskmaster but when I interact, I could cancel the 'current' ones. I did so.

I crash to login screen again.

3 New workorders, requit quest and try to get it. I get quest again and crash. Then I couldnt get her to give me the workorder.

Same just now when logged in for all of 4 mins before a SECOND DAY IN ROW they decide on patching PRIMETIME when I just get home (8PM EST) ...

So I can drop/get the Work order quest but the taskmaster will not give me any work order and I do not have any in log or current.

What would I normally gain from here on out? if it is just XP I am not horribly concerned, in the end it is tad slower but neglible, I am concerned I will get some tool or shirt or something actually useful and expected to be used

Anyone remember? especially if you are from Hathor Zhi.

Someone mentioned earlier, can't recall where (here or on Shidreth /craft) that relogging seemed to fix these phantom work order issues. At some point they had 9 or so in their log, none of which really existed.

Relogging often seems to fix crafting weirdnesses like this. It may also be that tonight's emergency patch will address this kind of stuff.

If you can't clear those WOs by relogging and/or abandoning them, and if abandoning the "container" quest the trainer (not taskmaster) gave you doesn't help either, you may have to /petition your issue, assuming that's a valid use of /petition (I'm getting a little behind on what is and isn't at the moment). One way or another you need to get through that intro quest, because it's what will take you to level 3 and that, unless I'm totally mistaken, is the minimum level for getting both recipes *and* work orders "for real" rather than as part of a tutorial. The tutorial quest is a must-do now, not an optional thing.

However, that being the case, I'm pretty sure that somehow you can be, if all else fails, unflagged for the line so that you can resume it - but that will require GM/technical assistance.

Update.

Logged in before the early evening patch as I said, same bug.

Logged in after, same thing - no work order now in my log. Got to TM and she offers none and I have none on her UI for 'current' - still fubar...

But... this time when I go to the machine, I see a + on workorders portion of crafting options.

I choose wagonwheel (mind you - I HAVE a damn wagonwheel in my inventory from when I originally crashed after finishing it the first time given the quest 2 days ago) and purposely failed it... why? because I was worried that there is nothing listed as 'current' and if I succeeded the TM might not 'acknowledge' it. Since I know you can retry, I did that. Failed it and went to the TM...lo and behold the TM now offered wagon wheel, I took it and she had it in my 'current' box too. I didn't try handing in the one I had, instead I made another and it worked (prob the first would have too but hey...I'm not risking it ;P)

So...moral of the story - you crash at one of these points, relog (from desktop to be safe) and if all else fails do what I did if you can make it, make it and fail so you will be offered it again to 'clear' your flags.
