Why are harvesters not buying crafted tools?

I've had pristine tin tools for sale for a while now and not sold a single one.
Are people generally ignorant of the usefulness of these tools or what gives.

Any theories?

I have crafted harvesting tools. My guild buddy made them for me. Maybe they are to expensive or maybe it's like you say and players haven't learned the value of them in regards to harvesting yet. It is still early days I suppose.

Have to look and see if they are available on my server / continent.

It may be that people don't see them. Finding stuff, if you don't know the name, on the broker is a pain. Seems like any search that isn't fairly simple fails, which makes finding stuff harder. Coupled with the 1 page of stuff that shows, scanning for interesting items is a challenge.

Broker doesn't seem to be a priority ATM, hopefully they'll get to it eventually. Can't have everything fixed immediately I guess

I would buy them for my harvester/adventurer I've been looking for some on the Hilsbury server on the CB broker but haven't found any yet. I'm hoping to get to Tanvu today. Maybe I'll find some there.

Well I've actually linked them in auc and compared them to the vendor ones and such. But no interest. When I list my weaps though I get a ton of tells.

So I've just stuck them in the bank for now. Lets see if people wise up.

Btw searches for pickaxe, sickle etc. should work fine afaik.
And of course you'll want to look for pristine ones.

I just don't think the 'harvesting' economy is really up to the point where they need crafted tools (although I'd buy them on my char).

I think part of the problem is that you don't need ot actually harvest stuff to skill up. Right now, the focus for alot of ppl is to skill up in crafting as fast as possible.

Once these 'high lvl' crafters get out and about and start harvesting, I think tools will start selling more.

Its really simple, weapons are sexy. Harvesting tools are not.

I can't speak for others, but I will definitely be purchasing harvesting tools, whichever is best for my individual harvesters based on their level. I'm not in game right now, might be a few days before I do get in, we'll see.

I tried to find them, no luck.

The 'harvesting sphere' setting gives a bunch of misc junk, most having nothing to do with harvesting. I also tried the harvesting tools in another drop down list and got same list of armor and weapons. I searched on 'tin' found one tool for quarrying, nothing for reaping or skinning, which is what I'm interested in.

Thanks for the tip on trying sickle, etc., should have thought of that. I'll give that a shot to
