Can artificers make weapons?
I just saw some grade A lvl 27 hatchets, with nice stats, on the vendor.
Description said it was amateur artificer methinks. Can anyone tell me whether these are made by artificers or just upgraded by artificers. |

At the very least, artificers make staves and possibly clubs - an arti friend of mine made me a totally kick-ass T2 club back in beta... not that it's relevant now, but I still remember that thing fondly. I'll let someone more knowledgeable answer more fully.

Yes, as I believe carpenters make bows and wooden weapons (staves, clubs, etc). Carpenter being a specialized artificer.

I have already been making staves with +8 stats, and on my recipe list there are clubs, and other parts to make other items. We can make arrows / bolts already too.

Artificer/Stone can make arrows & bolts, but the only real weapon so far is stone hammers (truncheaons). They can also make focus items which sort of subsitute as a weapon for casters.
I never saw a hatchet as an artificer choice... I would have guessed that was blacksmith. But then.. I'd have never imagined a stone bolt either |

Dont forget the staves. They have decent dps, and you could put melee stats on them if you wanted for 2hb (two hand blunt). Not to mention the clicky effects on them.
