Locations of crafting trainers...

I've noticed something while experimenting with the different races and classes...

In some cases the natural course of the beginning quests leads you right to someone who gives you the intro to crafting/harvesting/diplomacy quests which send you off to find the actual trainers. Gnomes, halflings, and Thestran humans come to mind. Others such as half elves don't... Maybe I just missed them but my half elf monk didn't find any of these quests until she stumbled upon the crafting one while wandering lost. By level 6 she still hadn't found the other two.

It seems to me that it should be standard in the starting areas that one of the very early quest-givers (someone in the open and impossible to miss) should have all three quests to send you to the various trainers for the other spheres, especially because you can't do these things under your own power until you complete the prerequisite quests.

For me, I have a year of WoW under my belt so I have a good foundation for muddling my way through but what about first time MMO'ers? Shouldn't there be better balance between the starting areas?

Re: Locations of crafting trainers...

I agree. I think in all reality though we should hope they fix tool/recipe bugs first before we get starter area npcs since chances are we will be all past this by the time they are useful any more.
