Amateur Weapon Destruction

anyone have any luck getting Amateur Weapon Destruction to work? I have tried with no luck. I have all listed ingredient but on the recipie in red is still claims i am missing something... can you destroy your own A grade crafted weapons? any info would help thanx.

You could at one point, but I believe now you can't destroy crafted stuff at all (more knowledgeable people welcome to correct :-)). Back when you could deconstruct the stuff you made yourself, it became way too easy to get the dust-type stuff.

I haven't even seen decon recipes yet, but my blacksmith is only 10 and it looks like it got moved to above the basic tier. I'm still trying to decide which spec to pick.

Haws to be crafted stuff, have yet to find a npc droped weapon with a grade to it such as A, B, C.....ect. The Recipie calls for an A Grade metal weapon to be consumed. So that in it self would mean only crafted items would work. If i am wrong let me know if you have found graded npc weapon drops.

The way it works now is that you need a non-crafted item with some magical properties. Even then, you have to get grade A on the decon, or you won't get anything out of it.
