Re: blacksmithing noob

go harvest and get some copper chunks, more than 20 of em so you can convert em to copper ore.

then go to a refining station and click on the copper ingot recipie. that should tell you a lot right there.

where can i get specialty dust ?? lol my tv dust isnt so special.

Re: blacksmithing noob

Attuning Dust is now sold at some Exotic Material Vendors (name might be a little off...just think "exotic"). Nothing above that can be bought yet, I believe. Personally, I hope it stops where it is. =D

When you start your work order, you will be allowed to choose the "Supplied" components or ones out of your inventory. For a work order, you are not required to have them before you start; the only things you need are enough utilies from the local utilities vendor to complete the work and the cost of those will be covered (over time) by the work order rewards.

You will learn as you progress about the utilities may need for the crafting complications you are currently encountering (although, there may be more different ones than you have table slots for). At the beginning doing workorders, I use two of my slots for the utility mentioned in the recipe and one for my best guess at the one I might need for complications.
