true... it seems only the slabs, ore etc are soulbound.

Someone should try and refine some ores/slabs or whatnot and see if the result is soulbound. I cannot right now as I am at work.

Re: Soulbound copper ore

I'm pretty sure this is a bug, because hubs's and my WO rewards (the money) were also claiming to be soulbound this morning. Note that an easy way around the endless confirm messages is to toggle that off in the options. Looks like anything above Mundane (or certain things, anyway) has been mistakenly flagged.

I haven't tried trading any of it, though I can't see how this can be anything other than a bug. I'm about to log back in and will check on the status of the various ores & bars (refined this morning) I have on me. It's possible that stuff is asking for a confirm but not actually ending up soulbound once you've looted it or traded it, too.

Re: Soulbound copper ore

You can convert the Ore back into Chunks in 100x per stack. It kind of defeats the purpose of making it soulbound... But yeah, I was upset when they did that.

Vasalt chunks made into slabs are not souldbound when converted.

I you havest 2 basalt deposits and get 1 slab and 19chunks from the first, and get same from second.

You will have 2 soulbound slabs and 38 chunks.

Now if you convert the 38 chunks into slabs, they will be added to your souldbound stacks, and make them normal.

So this is the way to bypass the bug/change.

Re: Soulbound copper ore

Okay - the copper ore is soulbound is indeed soulbound, and stays that way through conversions.

However, the basalt slabs I have convert both ways with no flagging, and the quartz I have isn't flagged either. If anything this confirms for me that we're seeing a bug and not intended behaviour. It's a pain in the backside, but at least we can sort of work around it.

None of the stuff I made with it (sheets, ingots) is bound. Whew. However... the dusts I received this morning from WOs are soulbound... but all the dusts I had from before are not. Freaky.

I'll be bugging this right now - the more of us do it, the more likely it is to be seen and dealt with rapidly, I hope. ;-)

Re: Soulbound copper ore

Ok yeah, this has got to be a bug. So stacking causes the soulbound tag to go away? Am I understanding that right?

If you stack non souldbound slabs into soulbound, the bind goes away.
