Make sure, because I swear in the cliffs of Ghelgad they share one. Made me think more than one were shared though rare.

Well seeing as he placed the spawns, I think he knows how they work.

There are always bugs, could have been that two were placed on top of each other.

Could be too that I did way too much late night harvesting as well...

I would say go with stone. You wont be using anything that you gateher with your secondary, but stone should be more plentiful around wherever you are mining, so you will be able to accumalate mroe which you can sell or trade off....

Re: Blacksmithish harvester!

I have been in areas that seem to be a 5:1 ratio of trees to ore nodes as well.

I think it just matters on what you want personally. If you know someone that is going to make bags you might do jute, if you know an aspiring shipwright do trees, or if you want a house eventually then do stone so that you can just hire a minerologist and give him/her whats needed.

Re: Blacksmithish harvester!

I agree with the general opion when i went with mining , I choose quarry as my secondary working around the same nodes. only thing i found out was my harvesting skill would go up faster if I choose a secondary harvesting skill such as skinning because there is plenty to kin. Money wise i would go harvesting save the minerals and stone to sell or use for a house.
I will not be crafting but my char's will harvest for future investments ie... ship, houses weapons and such.
