The "beacon" thing is diffinitely out but I liked what I read in the all the post. A combination of things would be nice. Looting..mining..adventuring all sound good. Keeps the boredom mob away. Being able to locate resources should not be a "smash your keyboard" because you can't locate them either.

One thing I'd love to see in crafting, superficial as it is, is a high level of visual customization. That way, the true artists in the community have a chance to stand out, and you might well be able to indentify a certain object's maker just by its look.

that could be difficuly to do with every item, but they do have that with houses, and ships especialy. seems you can craft your own ship, you can make it look like whatever you want basicly, withing the design struction of the region you are making it from (from the best of my knowledge anyway) but there are tints to the wood, furniture you put in it, and all sorts of stuff to customize it. im really looking foreward to making my own boat =D

They need to stop changing it that would make it better. hehe. Ok This is tghe third itteration of crafting they have done since beta 2 began. Getting kinda monotonous. having only a four slot tool belt sucks too. Need the crafted ones.

Basically what Im saying is I cant really comment right now since it has changed again and I havnt had time to look at it. I did notice that the decay rate seems rather high.

There should be no beacons showing resource spawns. It is just fine the way it is right now. You find certain tiers of resource in certain areas.

As you become an experienced harvester you will know where to go to find those resources.

Regarding the current third iteration of crafting, it seems alright so far. To this point I have made a couple of really nice clubs with a +3 strength enhancement and 4.07 dps. And those are the newbie artificer clubs without any attuning dust enhancement. Just grade A weakened boards and grade A components.

My Warrior loves his new uber newbie clubs and at level 10 with defensive stance he is pwning the mobs and drawing aggro all over the place in groups while dual wielding them!

I'm just happy that I finally got an etching knife to make those clubs. Now that I tested them out, maybe I go back to some work orders to get more rewards (and hopefully more attuning dust) to make a leet staff or something :-)

I've been in beta for two and a half weeks. One of those weeks I was gone on a vacation. But I have to say, this current client with the last patch is definitely very nice.

I do agree with the gripe about the three slot toolbelts. Need some good Outfitters working hard to get us all geared up

Francis: That would be very cool. As it stands, those clubs were very easy for me to make because of all the earlier crafting skills I learned prior to this patch. I had a couple hundred points left over after getting those boards and components to grade A. That would be a nice touch to apply a couple hundred points in the finishing stage to "make your mark" on the item.

hehe. Makes me think of Whiskey. Makers Mark to be specific

Works on the same Principle.
Trees should Regrow,Not just spawn in the same locations/areas over and over. If an Area is Overworked like in Farming,it Takes Time for that Area to Recover.

Ala EVE Online. The asteroid belt spawns (where players mine) are a few hours to a few days depending on the item type, location/quality (don't quote me on the exact times; I simply remember them having long respawn times, and players having to literally scout the galaxy or otherwise know where and when to go).

I like the effect this can have on a good economy. Throws some bit of unknown into the supply/demand equation so there are actual high and low points in the economy, and inflation is measurable.

On harvesting i would like a cart to carry extra resources. Mini map you can place your own info such as resource locations. no beacons. Random spawns within a zone, resources located in mines such as coal and gems. A trainable way of increasing the number of rare resource finds. Some items could decay or lose value over time such as plants.

On crafting I would like portable assembly/disassembly systems. so the ranger can make arrows, all classes basic repairs in the field. creating potions, Turning unwanted loot into stackable raw materials for easy carry.

Have wonderful complex powerful craftable gear, have also simple easy to make useful gear. I found even simple objects sometimes needed too many components. too many bad complications not enough special good events.

One thing I do like about harvesting is the higher yield with group harvests.

I do not like marked minimap resources, I dont even like the minimap period which is why I turn it off.
