Hmmm wonder when the ability "Quick Change" will be put into the game.
That Or the Macro change out. Think I'll call mine Shazzam! for adventuring, Leonardo for crafting, and Carter for Diplomacy. Rao

I played a game called helbreath. there mining was all underground, deeper into the dungeon the tougher the wandering mobs. all resources spawned randomly over quite extensive areas so you could not camp a node. This was far better than the open cast mining at fixed locations in most MMORPG's I have played. You would search for a node in adventure mode then change to mine then back into adventure mode. Of course tactics would change depending on your level relative to mobs in the zone you are mining.

DUDE...this will soooo totally cut down on botting ability...we all know of things like glider for wow, ect....but with random events like this, and (Im guessing) random paths for spawns.....botters beware, and farmers will at least have to have some skill.
I once again find myself salavating on the keyboard looking forward to "winter 2006" |

Hero Online makes you answer random math questions while leveling to cut back on bot programs. You get a prize when you get it right. Runescape has the random mini games or mob spawns as you gather resouces. Again more prizes for correct answers and quick responses
It would be a nice feature if you gathered in gear other then what you would normally adventure. Would get the old heart pumping like in the early days of Mining in UO 8) |
