Huge bug with Chat Bubbles.
Don't get me wrong. I love chat bubbles. However, I don't like them when they show ALL chat. By all, I mean all. Other channels, /tells, everything. Please fix this, ok?

There are plans to add more checkboxes to allow you to customize the chat bubbles, however I do not believe they are ready just yet.

Well, we don't need to add more. We just need the bubbles to only show up when we speak in general chat. Right now it is showing everything including /tells.

It only shows tells to you.. that particular client. No one else can see them. that and the says and group etc. Now if the person sending you a tell is standing in front of you then you and only you will see a chat bubble above their heads.

Asq, I think what Dark was saying (and he used me as a guinea-pig to test it) is that he was seeing tell-chat bubbles from people who were nowhere near him.
The concern isn't so much who can see them, I believe, as the fact that chat bubbles are being generated for forms of chat that we're not expecting to see them on -- like remote tells and stuff like that. To my mind, if someone isn't in /say radius then I shouldn't see a chat bubble from them. I don't actually use them but if I did that would be my preference.

Sort of. Here is how chat bubbles should work in my opinion.
The only chat bubbles that should show up are ones that are said in general chat. Anything said using a /tell, /party, /guild, or anything like that should not show. I would like to see not only my own bubbles in general chat, but those of any other PC that I can see. What is occuring right now is when I have the bubbles turned on, ANYTHING I say, no matter which chat channel is used, shows as a bubble over my toons head. Really, it should only apply to the /say channel. (I'm assuming this is the general chat channel. Then again, I'm a Tank. Good possibility I'm wrong.) Hope this helps Asq. See you ingame soon!
