Vanguard lockup

Issue:Client Hangs

I'm having problems with vanguard locking up and becoming unresponsive.
When I log back in the game I am in a different posistion as if I was still running for a little while.

at the end of the log is "ReadFile Failed : Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service."

System is a P4 3.4gig, 2gig 400Mhz sdram, ATI radion 9800 mobile with 256m memory.

it looks like you are missing lots of files - are you patched up properly on testserver?

You may want to try a full file scan, or if you have a fast connection delete your AssestsTest folder and re-patch. Just a suggestion...

After about 3 hours of playing on test with several chunking the memory usage of vanguard went from 35% to 59% of a 2 gig system and towards the End I was starting to get freezes and had a video reset (looks just like a /flush).

So I use a G15 keyboard, has a lcd screen, and I can watch the memory usage when I get above 75% total usage. about 50%(of 2 gig) vanguard I have to log to dump memory.

I have pushed it up to 82% at which point garbage collection got it back down to 76%(25-26% is normal computer) but once Vanguard is above 50%(of 2 gig) the client starts to do 1 sec freezes in combat or parley and sound effects start to get lost (generic hardware).

What I would suggest is to delete your Assetstest folder and repatch test server. See if that helps anything.
