We really need better dev monitoring or code it so the server resets automatically every 5 hours. I realize its a weekend but if a normal server goes down on a weekend its brought back up.

We don't know what the issue is yet - it's possible something went crashtinkle and everyone's been too busy running around like a headless chicken to let us know.
 The timing is bad, but then timing for that kind of stuff is always bad.

You know, even an acknowledgement of what is happening would be nice. Even "Hey, we know Test Server is borked. We are working on it." would be great.

I was actually expecting this to happen sooner or later. I hate to be gloom but I think if we don't see the server fixed up soon then it will probably be Monday before it happens and that sux. I hope I am wrong though.

If they had not started the death mechanic thread (oh btw at least 2 devs have been in these forums and always one almost constantly since that thread started going nuts) they imho do not have the excuse that they were not on here and did not know or could not post.Poor player base communications because they started a s**t storm is no excuse it is just poor practice plain and simple.

No one has started the crazy paranoid conspiracy theory rumor yet, so here goes (just kidding, everyone... please turn your sarcasm, irony, and humor flags on before proceeding)
Testserver will be back up and running for general use once the new death mechanics are done being tested. Till then, move along, there is nothing to see here. /sarcasm_irony_humor off As I said earlier - I assume it wont be back until Monday morning PDT. At least it's not (yet) the five days of *oops-we-didnt-notice-the-server-was-down-sorry-'bout-that* that EQ2 went through in it's first few weeks. |

Almost thinking they closed shop for the weekend, the few instances of posting appear to be late at night from thier homes. not much they could really do from there I believe.
