A low on points issue...

Last night I haden't been paying attention when I relized I had let my effort points get too low. I ended up needing one progress advance before I could finish the combine. Fortunatly I still had 79 points remaining and it would/should be enough to let me finish the combine.

However The forge wouldn't let me use a 75 point counter even though I had 79 points remaining. The message I got was "not enough points."

Anyone else noticed this?

Re: A low on points issue...

You had a complication that was increasing your points cost. Annoying as hell, I know.

Yes I believe your way of stating it is much better.

Thanks.

Re: A low on points issue...

I wonder if it would be possible to make a UI mod that shows the action points cost of an ability after tacking on the complication penalties or bonuses. I would like to know if my 75 point ability turns into an 85 point ability, or a 125+ ability as some higher complications can do. Its a pretty big difference.
