Hello Ladies and Gents,
I think that Vanguard should include a artbook of monsters and characters in a few of the earlier versions and or soundtracks...or make their manual elaborate explaining a story like EQ did Kudos to the god of war. |

I'm more than a little sure we'll be having all sorts of that coming up! It just makes good hype, and that's one thing SoE is good at...Hype!! Since it's there job to "sell" VSoH, I would expect to see all kinds of things coming up before ya know it!

Yeah but i dont want to have to pay for anything extra like at the SoE shops lol..i mean i love the neat stuff that they make for the games and all but im not paying $20 for a music soundtrack and or artwork, cloth map etc that could come with the first games as a promotion. Some of the additional stuff they come up with imo should be randomly given to the players that pay for it monthly i mea its what avg $140 or so a year? out of all of that it would be nice to get a little random sweeps going!

Isnt that what the collectors edition is? Seems that there would be no incentive to buy it if the content in it was free elsewhere.

Im not talking about the special edition, just more over the other stuff they may come out with, id rather get free promotions on expansions and things like that then buy it extra from the store.

artbook, soundtrack, etc. is indeed going to be part of the collectors edition, so it is unlikely they will be free elsewhere.

That's simply how they make their money, I don't blame them. Anyway that's why we have jobs after all, so we can buy things and be patrons to the artistic forms that we enjoy. I personally don't care too much about maps, but I will agree with wakygreek that I do enjoy the lore with pictures of the characters and gods from the game like in EQ that was a nice touch. Soundtracks can be downloaded...

Great part of being single and young and living under my parents roof, I don't have to worry about Wifey Faction, I can just spend spend spend till my heart is content. I'm sure you guys have your bonuses of marriage but it's not for me heh, I enjoy my solitude way too much, I couldn't imagine being in a relationship where someone told me not to buy this or that, but I guess that's a part of adulthood in the real world.
