More Cowbell!

I Love this SNL skit. But now that cows hae been spotted in Thestra I'm wondering if bards will get a cowbell.

If you Have no clue as to what I am talking about check out this. (Click play twice)

It begins with a suposed film from the 1976 recording session that produced the Blue Oyster Cult's biggest hit, "(Don't Fear) The Reaper."

Cast of characters:
Jimmy Fallon as Albert Bouchard
Will Ferrell as Gene Frenkle
Chris Kattan as Buck Dharma
Chris Parnell as Eric Bloom
Horatio Sanz as Joe Bouchard
Christopher Walken as Bruce Dickinson

Hehe and just for fun A Soundboard from the skit. Note. It is big and takes a bit to load. Requires Macromedia Flash.

Hilarious.... nearly pissed myself. Fallon couldn't even keep a straight face.

Re: More Cowbell!

As did I when I saw it the first time. I'v had an on and off and on again love for SNL and luckily Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan are amonst my favorite castmembers And when I saw that Christopher Walken was going to be on I had to watch it and wasn't disapointed.
Then once it showed up on the net it has been one of my staple videos I have. Of course it was much better on the tv since the video capture on the net sucks but it's nice having it at my fingertips.
When Ever I see a new music video I almost always think of this skit and laugh imagining Chrisopher Walken come in saying he needs more cowbell.

Its so bad that when ever I hear or see Fatboy Slim's Weapon of Choice I still start cracking up.

Then again I really like Christopher Walken. And one of my favorite scenes with him is his cameo in Pulp Fiction.

I could watch the clip over and over again. Christopher Walken is a great actor.

Re: More Cowbell!

Actually there are so many great quotes from that movie I just cant put any of them on here cause they would have to be sensored to much.

Great cast as well. Samuel Jackson gets some really killer lines as well. I mean seriously what better delivery over a cup of coffee. Gonna have to paraphrase this one.

"Mmmm! Dang, Jimmie! This is some serious gourmet stuff! Usually, me and Vince would be happy with some freeze-dried Taster's Choice, but he springs this serious GOURMET stuff on us! What flavor is this?"

hehe this is the only one I can recall that dosn't have MF starting, ending or in the middle of every sentance longer than 5 words. Maybe I should look up the script and censore all of his lines from the movie and use them for pull and spell messages.

Hmm What would this one be used for? Loot calls?
"....what the heck am I doin' in the back? You're the moron who should be on brain detail. We're switchin' right now. I'm washin' the windows and you're pickin' up this jerks skull."

Bah it's late once again.
