Deciphering Chronicles of the Shieldbearer
Sigil has released what they call a "lore puzzle" for us to solve. The lore fragment is entitled "Chronical of the Shieldbearer" and we've added it to our Lore Section in the Thestra category. Lets see if we cant put our heads together and crack the code.
I would think we'd want to focus on cracking the two or three letter words first so we can generate a key to translate the rest of the text. There are only so many two letter words in the english language so we should be able to make some good progress from there.

Re: Deciphering Chronicles of the Shieldbearer
I spent hours and hours decyphering these lore fragments.
Rather than just hand it to you on a platter I will tell you the first few words. It makes it far more enjoyable to actually feel part of the lore/story by decyphering it yourself. The first line of the Chronicles of the Shieldbearer begins.... "We who were chosen...." That should be enough to spend a cold afternoon puzzling it out. I can't wait for the next instalments of the Shield Bearer and the Abandoned Soldier (which is written in a different language that was even harder to decypher). |
