hmmm i gotta be missing something.....
just watched country fest on tv - loved it - sry just cant get into the operetic / orchestral / classical genres please enjoy em and dont hate me!! Im of the opinion that the more people eat/drink/listen-to things i dont like, the less i have to consume of them, so happy listening everyone!! |

I enjoy classical and Opera, in both cases knowing the piece improves your appreciation and quite often it is the production or interpretation that you are appreciating as much as the music its self. For all out fun I like Carl Orff's Trionfi which includes Carmina Burana played at full volume!!

Must say Prokofiev's Symphony no. 1. I just love how it does a sort of faux cadenza from D to D via D, C#, G# A7, D. That's just genius!
My favourite instrument is a Fazioli concert grand piano. If that doesn't count, well, a forest of timpani is always fun! ![]() |
