Re: Original Music Suite - Snowflight
Thanks for the input, I appreciate it! And you are correct, I do use Sibelius for composition and sequencing...it seems to work well, but I'm unaware of most other software available to me for that purpose (lots of other programs that can sequence seem to do the notation part very unintuitively, as they're usually geared towards mixing and such). Do you think Sibelius is adequate as a sequencer?

As a sequencer, no. It's great as a composing tool and for creating great-looking sheet music though.
As far as sequencing goes, I use Cakewalk SONAR which is quite intuative and makes a lot of sense to me. There's a ton of other ones out there though, some exclusively for Macs, some for both Win and Mac.

Re: Original Music Suite - Snowflight
I currently use Finale 2007 for my compositions. While the sequencing certainly isn't as robust as I would like it to be, the functionality of the actual composition is something that I really enjoy working with. I've never actually played with Sibellius, so I can't give any sort of opinion on it - though if you have used both programs, I'd be interested on your take.

Re: Original Music Suite - Snowflight
Nicely done...the Forest song wouldn't sound out of place in a Final Fantasy game...very jaunty. Also, were you in any way inspired by the work of a Japanese composer named Jo Hisaishi? A couple of parts of the Outskirts tracks made me think of his work (he usually composes film soundtracks).
