End game factioning
Seems like there are three areas of primary interest at the end game. All three require large amounts of faction to obtain the gear. Those areas are...
1. Tehatamini area--rewards are various peripherals with nice stats and bonuses(neck, ring, cloak, etc) 2. Rhaz/Afrit weapon--reward is a very nice longsword (for sword and boarders). 3. Swamp armor (50 armor)--rewards make a complete set of armor of various focus (defense, balanced, offensive). Great set but it can cause problems if people in your group don't want to kill the mobs you need because it hurts their faction. If you were to obtain all three areas rewards, you would be more than set for raiding (when that comes) and beyond. The downside is, it will take you a very long time and can be daunting to acheive these rewards without a steady group of friends working on it with you. The other options to these three areas is crafted armor and various named armor drops. You can mix and match what you need in this way and hope what you need drops. I find alot of players chose the faction route, since the rewards are guarenteed. I myself go this route (I bounce around as the mood strikes to keep from grinding the same area too long). What are you planning to do/are doing at end game for gear? |
