I can see making an item difficult to get, but actually limiting the number of people who get it? Makes more sense just to make it difficult to achieve and let anyone who puts in the time and effort pick one up.

The whole point of legendary is that your one of maybe 3 people on the server who have it. It actually makes your character unique which is refreshing in modern day mmorpgs.

hopefully these wouldnt be bind on equip or no trade equipment. it would be cool from an rp perspective for a guild leader to pass on his sword to his successor when he leaves the game. WHICH SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN. or maybe be able to give these items a name. hate it when the uber weapon has a stupid name

hummmmmm
Going Back to EQ (the early days), a Class weapon like Innys Curse should be someitng every class can achive with a painful list of things to get. That really limited the number on the servers.
As for legendary i can see things that only a few people could have. the Early days had the Ring of Champion quests and where awarded at Events and such. Thoes where items that only a select gruop ever seen. |
