Too much
Too much of a good thing can ruin most gaming experiences. Playing UO too much and everytime we carried out a section attack in real life, I'd mutter KAL ORT POR while firing my C-6. It made for some funny moments. Siege weapons would be awesome but not sure if it fits the "Vision"tm.

This sort of thing does interst me, but you always have what I call the asshole factor with any online game unfortunetly. If someone took a catapult to my house because he "felt like it lolz" I'd be rather upset about it - though if done right its certainly something I wouldn;t mind seeing =) Some people play for fun, others play to destroy peoples fun >,<

Ill assume roll of lead siege designer! And No gnomes cant...but baby and elderly gnomes can. (is that sick? Im sorry im a DK)...Can any one say "Montezuma's Revenge?"

I would love to see this implemented into the game, if not by release, then by a following patch.
I can see it now. Rogues will have a huge utility in the forms of sneaking into a city and stealing supplies, sneaking up to a siege weapon and taking a main component, and just plain sneaking everything away like a little pack-rat. Makes me feel soft tingles in me loins. |

Just curious, but do you believe that Sigil would make to where you could take over a town without actually destroying it. Say through an asassination of the town's ruler, perhaps?

Are you kidding? Gnomes are the ones designing the seige equipment. WE are technologically superior... that's just how we roll.
With that I would like to introduce the "Lesser Giant Cannon" TM. Just lock n' load the Lesser Giant into the cannon and pray he takes down a wall before you reload him and repeat... That is what the racial ability is for right? Survivng those shots... Anyway.. enough foolishness.. I'd like to see the seige weaponry, so long as it was in a controlled environment that wouldn't affect those leveling or whatever... like in DaoC. |
