Functional Defensive Weapons
What would people say to weapons such as Swordbreakers and Parrying Daggers that actually do as their name states? They provide damage as well as having the secondary effects. Whether this were to come as an increase to parry, or the ability to debuff an enemies damage.
Ok after reading what I typed I kinda clued into the fact that it would be really really easy to do this and they probably already are. |

Oh, that would be fun. Hum, would you classify them as a shield or a weapon? Tanks can't dual wield and I doubt a light offensive melee would want to sacrafice the dps. I suppose they could be lame and just add a proc to the sword breaker that debuffs attack and not sacrafice any DPS and it would make a good dual wield weapon but they should probably be a "shield" slot item. Convert your chance to block into a chance to parry/break with your off hand but have it disable all your shield skills (like shield bash). You wouldn't use the weapon to slash though. It might look like your dual wielding but in fact your not. Would make a cool situational choice. A sword breaker would do nothing aginst a foe who doesn't use a sword like a bear but if you could break the sword a human/skeleton was using you might be better off then using a shield. I suppose that effectivly makes it a disarm skill but it still is seems cooler.
