So I became an Envoy without playing...?
Greetings everyone.. this my 1st post in vgspheres, just came by from silky venom which got a little out of hand with the whiners and trolls, anyway this place seems a lot of better.
So... I hadn't played Vanguard for a week or so and last time I checked I had a 86 diplo skill. I logged in yesterday to find out that I was a 101 skill Envoy : . I didn't have the time to check the patch updates on diplomacy, so if anyone can enlighten me on how this happened Id be glad ![]() Thanks, Calenor |

Re: So I became an Envoy without playing...?
Today's post is brought to you by the word "Retroactive."
![]() It's like the adv-xp adjustment that took place in beta - with less required to get through certain levels, some people found themselves a level higher, or very close to it, once the changes went through. More bang for your XP buck... or something like that. ![]()

Re: So I became an Envoy without playing...?
Ah so that's why I am 105 in diplomacy on my main now. I was thinking that I was only 94 but it was 105 and I also had the Envoy title. Not a bad title if I do say myself. I am still disappointed that I didn't get a home town title because I used an old station account rather than creating a new one.

Re: So I became an Envoy without playing...?
I'm not at all sure those 2 things are related, Arctic. Hubby and I both used existing Station accounts and I've certainly been able to use home town titles -- if what you mean is "of Hathor Zhi" and the like? If not, then I'll just move along!

Re: So I became an Envoy without playing...?
My brother created a new station account for his vanguard account the rest of us all used our existing ones we had for "EverQuest". My brother is the only one with such titles. In other threads I have read; people said you could tell someone was a newby when they had that title. With what my friends and I experienced it seems to be the case.
