Re: Trying my luck
I find that snippet and fan the flames give him 2 reason which he uses to play Itemized Comparison and I cant recover from that. He gets +3 from that and then he plays something that gives him +2. Meanwhile I don't have 2 reason to convert to demand. Even if I did Mordebi Candor only gives me +5 which brings me even.
Sorry its been so long. I have been working alot and havent been able to play lately. Its still just as frustrating as ever though coming back and being in the same spot. ![]() |

Repeals are probably your best bet for winning this parley. If you don't have them yet, check the trainer. If you can't get the quest for repeals yet from the trainer, you can do the soldier quest to raise your skill enough to get the repeals quest. I think your dip trainer gives the soldier quest, but not sure. If all else fails, you can just do the soldier quest. This quest was put in to help people who get stuck on the newbie lines. You simply parley with the soldiers until you hit skill 40, at which time the quest will be complete. At that point, you will get the rewards you would have gotten from the regular quest line, though you may need to go back to the trainer for additional cards, not sure. You'll then be able to move on to civic diplomacy. |

Among the things you should have are: Messenger Boots: These boots give 14 outsider and provide you with the card Well-Traveled Wisdom. Gloves: As a Mordebi, you should have Inspiring Gloves, which give +1 inspire at the beginning of the parley. Courier Pouch: 12 slot pouch equippable in the regular bag slots. Held item: A rod or scepter of some kind that gives a certain type of presence. Other: A shirt with soldier/crafter presence and I think pants as well. If you have all that, then the only thing you are missing is the story. I've never finished the Mordebi line, so I can't tell you how it ends :P |

Re: Trying my luck
Yeah, I would think so. After you've gotten some more cards, maybe you can come back to the quest line and finish it. By now you probably have a pretty good idea of what you need to beat that NPC. You should be able to find the cards you need on the vgtact wiki.

Re: Trying my luck
Finally! After making sure to keep the token close and not feed him any reason at all. I beat him. I would like to thank all the people who helped me. My Publicist, Agent, My mom who always believed in me! and most of all God!. Because it took a miracle to beat him. I wish he was a lower level NPC so I could just kill him over and over.
