Double faction hit for the diplo puch..WTF?!?!
So....
I did it. But I went the route of the bad men and took a whopping 1k faction hit to all factions in Kojan. That's right. 1000 faction loss to a-) City of Tanvu b-) Martok c-) Port of Martok d-) Ca'ial Brael e-)Tawar Galan. And for what? a-) 500 for 'Hidden Market', b-) 500 Gulgrethor oh, and a stinking pouch. Well, its not that stinky. And its more like a breastpocket now that you equip it on you shoulder. so tell me, what did I really earn despite the anger of my continents factions? Where can I find this so called 'hidden market?'

It's hid reeeeeeaaaaaalllllly well atm.
OK, it's actually not in yet. I'd like to complete the quest, but I want my DE to do the illegal actions (Necro and all - though...betrayal sounds good too - but only if the 'good' guys offered incentive...ie: bribes) Since Aru has stated factions need to be corrected, I am staying away. I am willing to take the 1K hit if I must, if only to attempt to go a diff faction route. But if you want to go the 'good' way, I suspect those factions will be reduced as well soon. Since they seem to be 'free non-kos card', but maybe thats a bennie for us dips. I am a bit concerned though that we just had a content patch and no mention of it was made in notes, especially since they changed the slot. Why didn't they address the faction they said needed addressing also... or is this the final decision?

I don't mind the faction hit TBO. MY Raki had well over 1k in faction to deal with it. But why the 'double hits' is more of my concern. The log literally showed:
Ca'ail Brael Faction -500 Ca'ail Brael Faction -500 City of Tanvu -500 City of Tanvu -500 Tawar Galan foreign blah blah blah -500 Tawar Galan foreign blah blah blah -500 It was a single 1k hit. Was this by design? I feel sorry for the poor fools who went knee deep in KOSness

I went the good way and it only upped my faction by 500 and hit me for -500 on the hidden market.

Anyone done this for either route after recent patch?
I am hearing both were adjusted, but only rumors.
