Legionaire Kevan (sp?) on the wall in Hathor Sentinel gave me the quest...I remember my first parley with him was quest related, and the reward was the BC prestige faction and some cash items (which in retrospect was a bit odd too). I didnt really think anything of it becasue I was new enough too the game I had no real clue where anything else was either...

All the guards in Tanvu give Bordinars Cleft faction.

I too received BC PRestidge on my DE. It was definately before I did Civic.

I remember posting here about having 2 Prestidge and my Halgarad barb not having even one prestidge faction (at same point - when both received their horses)

Tanvu yes. But Not Hathor Zhi. Like I said, probably a fluke and should be bugged. Probably should've given you Hathor Zhi faction instead.

Now that I've played a bit ...I'm guessing we should be getting Pankor Zhi faction, since otherwise theres a whole city full of fellow DE's just down the valley that just glare at you when you hail them...though thats only a guess.

They are still chasing out that errant BC faction. Make sure you /bug it when you come across it.

For those that were not in Beta. Bordinar's Cleft was the first city to get Civic Diplomacy. When they rolled it over to all cities it was seemed like a cut and paste job to get each cities civic framework in place. All the placeholder text was Dwarven (and still seems like placeholder text since much of it still refers to Dwarfy things??). Factions were all Dwarven at the time too, looks like some of it has been hiding since then.
