I would say that once you are 'out' of Diplo quests, go check your trainer and see if they have a new one. I have heard though you need '40 diplo skill' to start it and the final quest you need to be lvl 10. On a side note, maybe I'll start an elf just to hear their side of the story. I think they're dodgy people based on the Raki diplo line ![]() |

Re: Diplomacy cards
I think that you will find they are dodgey even if you play their line. But in a very accomplished sort of way.
Vlawde, you do indeed need to be 40. Have you finished the storyline? You should be 40 if you have. When you're all done, Zephiria should have a quest connecting you to the horse quest.

Re: Diplomacy cards
Related to this thread, I'm also looking to expand my deck.
I believe I've done everything there is in Leth Nurae, including the horse line. I've ventured over to BC and found an easy quest there that resulted in a new card. But beyond that, I'm having a tough time finding any more quests that lead to new cards. Someone mentioned Civic as a why to acquire new cards... but how? I've skilled up a lot on civic, but I don't recall any resulting in quests or rewards. Thanks! |

Re: Diplomacy cards
Yeah, our hp got gimped, didn't it?
On another note, how in the world did you do the soldiers on the road quest outside of khal? That's pretty much where I got fed up with diplo.

Re: Diplomacy cards
I have been yapping with the dwarf soldiers outside of that dwarf fort south of Tursh. I just continue winning parleys (both parleys for each soldier, at least once) but never complete the quest. How many times do you have to win a parley with each soldier to complete the quest? the quest just says to talk until the quest giver is satisfied. I don't have unlimited time to waste on this.

Re: Diplomacy cards
You know when you are done the newbie diplomacy line when your trainer gives you a courier's pouch and messenger boots at the end of a quest. The trainer should give you a quest to see someone and they will give you a delivery quest with the quest reward for saddlebags.Upon finishing this you should be able to do a quest for the horse if you are level 10 adventurer(possible level 10 crafter as an alternate).
As for additional quests there are alot by the wood elf port tawar(cant remember rest of name), and three rivers in thestra. There are as well card/diplomacy quests in Bordinar's cleft(2 of them),halgarad(2 of them),tursh(3 of them).Khal has them as well but I have not made it to that continent yet.Be forewarned that you will need various presences raised to be able to do quests. Each quest will have a particular presence(or multiples) required.I have done some quests where I have already received the card from another quest so be sure to look at the quest reward closely to make sure you do not have the card already. |

But I think you have to beat the Seargent as well he was level 35 so I didn't try to beat him yet since I was level 12 at the time. I will go back as they are easy to beat I will let you know how I get on. From what I remember there are 5 soliders and 2 parlays each so I think if you win all 10 parlays it should be complete. |

Re: Diplomacy cards
The quest was bugged and they fixed it, I believe. I quit on it after about a dozen successful parleys. the next day, when I returned to the area, the green light blinked on. Let's hope they keep up with fixing these bugs. On the whole, though, for a new type of action in a new game, they've done a good job.
(I went to see the Adventurer in Tursh and she was invisible - full red line, no person - an invisibility spell on an npc?) Quote:

I wouldn't bother doing that quest unless you are stuck on the rest for some reason. Completing the newbie line will get you more cards and gear. |
