Diplomacy and you...
just a warning to all and those who might not visit diplo forums...
a recent patch has changed civic diplomacy, to the point that even with level 50's you can lose 9/10 times.

mine is a measely 47, wum's is 77
these are guys we have beaten handily before.. now it's a constant struggle and the faction hits are getting brutal. they are tossing 5's a lot more often etc.

Sounds like a challenge... but I hear it is in a state of constant flux.
Is it all 50s or just some? What influence combos have you tried? Honestly, I think it was too easy before. Now if its too hard that would be par for the course on Sigil tuning methods...  That can only mean that our harmonious balance of difficulty is not too far off.... |

bleh you actually expect me to remember all the card combos i've tried? hehe nothing works... it's seems random now, depending on when your cards might refresh and pray.
yeah it was easy before, agreed... seems all 50's etc... i've seen a lot of others complaining about it, just not on here. i'm not complaining tho, just warning others about the changes!

Moving this to the Academy. I haven't dabbled in diplo much yet. Take a look at Aruspex's State of Diplomacy post too. Make sure to give feedback, because as he says in that post, even the "worst trolls" might have some constructive criticisms.

I have gotten my arse horribly kicked in Civic parleys. My skill is 45 but I found two NPC's I could beat (each on the 3rd try) in Tursh. When I come home I will document my decks and make a hot key for both decks. I hope to regain faction fast. I feel my wins are situational so I damned best document.
Do you guys know the time out on a NPC when you have beaten them in a civic parley? |
