The diplomacy interface.....

I kinda like the interface thats in now, ok the pictures could do with a bit of work, but all the important info is there at a glance, now I have to learn how to work it right and not just close my eyes and hope for the best.

LOL, thats how I won the two parley I've done. And as far as the look of the cards, it's been stated by the devs that those are just place holders and much better/funny pictures will be taking there place by launch.

Well in a recent patch they finally fixed it so the old art isnt stretched so hopefully that is a precursor to the new art coming in.

For me, it's a smidge harder for me to identify a card right off the bat, since all the icons are somewhat similar versus the old disassociated icons that I got used to when learning the system. However, it's a very distinct style and once you learn the pictology (is that a word?), you can identify what the card does quite quickly.

I'm still not certain exactly what the hand positions mean, but the faces are pretty clearly the card type (I have lots of angry old men! ) Plus, the background color is consistant and helpful.

While it would have been awesome to have unique art for each card, I'm pretty certain that would have been close to impossible due to time constraints and the sheer quantity of cards there are

Its on the diplomacy card faces when you are interacting with the diplomacy sphere in game. We'll likely have a catalog of the cards at some point for you to refer to here but we're largely waiting for release at this point before we release our tools and databases to make sure we only have accurate release information.
