I hope that is not their aim. Trying to keep everyone happy
always results in keeping nobody happy. This particular issue doesn't matter - it comes out to the same thing, and the only difference is perception. So it's appropriate to allow a choice. Any other kind of thing - they need to decide what is best for the game and stick to it, no matter how much whining goes on over it.
