Oh my, I totally forgot to mention the Heroes of Might and Magic series. Been hooked ever since The Sucession Wars. The Restoration of Erathia was a blast and I really enjoyed Armageddon's Blade. HoMM4 was a disappointment in my opinion - HoMM5 on the other hand looks like it'll deliver.
