[Arachne]

Within the deepest part of the forest of Quinta Styrewood, she kneeled surrounded by a circle of salt, a pure substance. Central to her spell casting, in warding off anything evil while she practised her art. Devotions spoken in her mother tongue of Ea’erithe, played upon the listless breeze. Her skin adorned with not only her tattoos, but also fresh totems, runes and symbols, painted on Mebrindrith’s flesh, like a canvas of natural earthen colours. Before her a simple fire that hissed and crackled, jumping and dancing as her musical voice rose and fell with each syllable of her consecration to Quercus.
