I am currently working on a Night Elf Warrior. It's more of a passing fancy if anything, but one that has held my interest since October of last year. She is level 52 and slowly progressing upward. Unfortunately if I was a dedicated gamer on there, I would soon become frustrated with the end-game raid content due to my 56k modem... I am afraid that it is the only type of access that is available to me, though I do get a reliable connection and it works surprisingly well when I am not in a 40+ person group.
But, I'm rambling. I do long for an open world, one where I am not pushed into a certain direction, though it is certainly available to me. I do like WoW, but I feel it is a bit too oriented on the PvP aspects (which in my opinion still need a good deal of tweaking). I'm as dedicated to the cause as any other Alliance/Horde, but sometimes I just want to buy a house, set up a farm, and play the game that way.
That being said, I have to say that I like to roleplay when I can. There's just something about really putting yourself into someone else's shoes that makes the game just seem so much better. That's just me though.
